Most Japanese restaurants have bento boxes--at Shoko it's more like a bento bridge. there's one long rectangular platter with a couple divisions, plus a couple side pieces. The lunch special is a particular bargain, big portions and tasty. I've also had ramen here which is tasty but not distinctive. I've had very good service here, and somewhat spacey at another time.

I do not recommend this sushi place. It's aggressively mediocre sushi for way over priced considering its subpar quality. Miyamoto or Yataimura are both close by and are much tastier, have more generous happy hours, and most importantly have better quality fish for about the same price.
We ate dinner here during happy hour, for 2 rolls, 2 sets of nigiri, and 2 sakes we paid $60. Not terrible but the sushi itself was not good, one of the rolls was tiny and pretty flavorless and the nigiri didn't taste very fresh. The topper was that our other roll advertised having real crab but very clearly had krab instead which was the final straw.
They appear to have generous lunch specials but consider how terrible our dinner was I don't want to bother trying them. -

Top notch lunch specials will make you happy for less than any fast food bastard out there !!!

It's convenient and fine. Pretty standard, reliable menu if you crave sushi in the neighborhood. Always has seats, never full.

Customer service was great! Their happy hour menu was pretty skimpy on the sushi but had other great options such as ramen, skewers, and edamame (not to mention they have happy hour brews and wine as well). Their presentation of their sushi was absolutely beautiful and such a fun experience with our group of friends. I'd love to come again and sit outside since it's in a nice shaded area where you can people watch down Woodstock. Their Vegas and Green Monster rolls were my favorites of the bunch.
